Which names did your parents consider...

My first and middle names were supposed to be Theresa Kathleen, but then my aunt went and had my cousin and named her Teresa, so they switched the names and there you go.

My sister's name is Bernadette....you don't hear that one too often anymore.

My dad wanted to name me Virginia (mom won). If I were a boy, they were going to call me Jason.

Steve's parents were thinking of calling him Basil!!!!

I am the youngest of four daughters.All through mum's pregnancy they were thinking positive, they were waiting for Peter to arrive. It took them 6 weeks to name me when I turned up female.In shock I think. I wanna know what they called me during those 6 weeks for gawdsake!Hey you? the baby? Zoja (which i guess is the Slovene version of Zoe, it's pronounced Zoya)

Vanda (English version is probably Wanda, only Vanda is pronounced with a "v" like in the word "very")

Luckily, the third option won, so Maja it is.

Well my mom wanted to incorporate her mom's name into mine which was Ann but she didn't want Ann to be my first name. So someone suggested Kelly Ann around her 4th month. So I was Kelly in the belly from then on. Good thing I wasn't a boy. The doctors kept telling her there was a 50% chance that could happen. But she was positive (or crazy)

But, had I been a boy I would have been Michael James (my dad's name flipped around).

The doctor told my mom I was a boy, so she started calling me Nicholas when I was still in her stomach. Then when I turned out to be a girl, she just couldn't get use to calling me Natalie so for the first two weeks of my life she kept calling me Nicholas.
