Remembering Gilligan and the castaways on that Island ...

The beginning of the Gilligan's Island theme song ...

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port,
Aboard this tiny Ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
The Skipper brave and sure,
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour.

A three hour tour.

[ sound of thunder: crack! ]

The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
The Minnow would be lost.

The Minnow would be lost.

The ship's aground on the shore of this
Uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan, the Skipper too,
The Millionaire and his wife,
A movie star ... the Professor and Mary Ann,
Here on Gilligan's Isle!

and ... the ending theme song ...

So this is the tale of our castways,
They're here for a long, long time
They'll have to make the best of things,
It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and the Skipper too,
Will do their very best,
To make the others comfortable,
In their tropic island nest.

No phone! No light! No motor car!
Not a single luxury,
Like Robinson C-ru-soe, it's primitive as can be.
So join us here each week ... my freinds,
You're sure to get a smile,
From seven stranded castways,
Here on "Gilligan's Isle."

True, but for some reason I never ever liked the first season ... it was probably because it was in black-n-white.

I thought the color episodes (Seasons 2 & 3) were alot better. Plot-wise and picture-wise.

Definitely. They had some really wacky plots. Natives coming from other islands, the wrong-way pilot, the actor who was practicing to play tarzan or something,

Not too bad. There was a Sales meeting earlier with all the Executives/Corporate Heads. We also had several client managers (from companies we supply to) show up as well. So, needless to say, there was not alot of work coming in tonight, since the suppliers, executives and managers were all here in a meeting. They were discussing renewing their purchasing contracts/accounts in our company. Alot do renew with us ... as they get alot of supplies from us. Our company is very reliable and competitive with the other companies out there. The matter is what company has a price reduction or the least expensive products ... that is their biggest concern on saving money and picking a company that they can benefit from.

I think it's more like ... tell my boss to just let me spend my evenings here at Interference.

 :D

I can always take my work home and finish it there ... thank goodness, I put all my stuff on disk.
