By finals contenders, they're only two competition points behind the Warriors who are still given a reasonable chance of making the finals, thus they have a finals opportunity.

Frankly, I don't think either team WILL make it, but the fact that they can is AWESOME.

There can't be too many major sporting competitions in the world that are as ridiculously close as the NRL.
