Anyone heard the new peppers album? It's pretty good. Very different for them. It's very melodic, but still has plenty of UMPH.
I wouldn't be ashamed if U2's next album were to sound like this(although I don't now, because they would be copying RHCP, but if U2 were to come out with this album first, well then).
