Well I can't read German, but will it grow up to be this?

Well, it doesn't say anything in the description about how much it grows in the next few years. It is one year old, and the oldest tree that was ever found (900 years old) was 12 metres high.

I wanna buy 12 and set them up in my room and put on a JT Bono hat and play the harmonica and....

You killed your Joshua tree? Isn't that supposed to be hard to do?

I'm sure mailing the one that's for sale from Germany to wherever the buyer lives will do the trick.

It's lucky the seller isn't in England, with our post service, you'd open the box three weeks later to find a broken pot, dry soil and a few brownish leaves.

How would you pack a Joshua Tree anyway?

BUBBLE-WRAP!

But it'd burst all the bubbles.

Bummer. Any better ideas?

Actually, upon further thought, a humid climate maybe isn't the best one in which to raise a baby joshua tree--they live in extremely dry climates, right? Bubble-wrapping one might be a bad idea for the same reason--it'd trap moisture inside.

I'm not a botanist; maybe someone else out there is.

I think we've just found a niche market in the U2 community...correct packaging for Joshua Trees! Imagine if you could mail a Joshua Tree safely...it'd be like:

HAPPY CHRISTMAS, I've sent you a Joshua Tree!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, you'll get a whole year of happiness out of this Joshua Tree!
CONGRATULATIONS on graduating - you'll go far in life if you keep this Joshua Tree as your constant companion!

It's the perfect gift for any occassion!
