You honestly feel that fewer than 40 bands were responsible for the 100 best songs of an entire decade...? I mean, fuck the Vh1 list, but even an ultra-seminal song like "Teenage Riot" is conspicuously absent from your list.

And are you serious in omitting Prince's "Kiss"??? I mean, come now. There's only so much insanity we can take, out here...! semi-:wink:

exactly... they said "top 100 songs from the 80s," whch doesn't neccesarily mean "best 100 songs" from the 80s.

so the list is fairly accurate as far as lists go... sure some of the songs would move up here and there... i would've put billie jean as #1 myself... but, alas, most of the songs that should be there are there.
 
I agree with Loompa and Headache. The list is pretty spot on for the 100 most popular songs. Nobody said anything about the BEST songs. The former is not subjective. The latter is.
