Twenty20
I know this sort of cricket probably isn't new to the poms who have been watching it for a year, but I just saw my first ever Twenty20 match last night and it was awesome!

I didn't like it until I watched it and then thought it was brilliant. Just the thing cricket needs to take off in other countries too, I reckon. China's getting involved more now, according to something on the news the other day. I reckon America could lap up Twenty20, even.

![]() Seriously though with Twenty20 drawing such huge crowd attendances I think it's a dead cert to became a permanent cricketing fixture. It's also pretty unique so I think it's more likely to "slot in nicely" than kill off say, one day cricket. |
