Yep, Fawlty Towers starred John Cleese of Monty Python fame

Blackadder starred Rowan Atkinson of Mr. Bean fame

WKRP in Cincinnati, All in the Family and Cheers were also great plus I loved Night Court, Dan Fielding, scummiest character ever.

MRS RICHARDS: And another thing I asked for a room with a view
BASIL: Deaf, mad and blind. This is the view as far as I can remember, madam. Yes, this is it.
MRS RICHARDS:When I pay for a room I expect somthing more interesting than that.
BASIL: That is Torquay, Madam.
MRS RICHARDS: Well, it not good enough.
BASIL: Well...may I ask what you were hoping to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeests sweeping majestically....
MRS RICHARDS: Don't be silly. I expect to see the sea.
BASIL: You can see the sea. It's over there between the land and the sky.
MRS RICHARDS: I'd need a telescope to see that.
BASIL: Well, may I suggest you consider moving to a hotel closer to the sea. Or preferably in it.

:lmao: classic

Sanford And Son

Steptoe and Son (the British show Sanford&Son was based on) was brilliant! (When Harold moans about lack of food and how he had to fight Hercules for a carrot :lmao: ). In fact, I love pretty much ALL of the British sitcoms named but I still say that Only Fools was the best, any sitcom that can have you in tears over something as awful as a character's miscarriage then have you laughing again IN THAT SAME SCENE without making you feel like you shouldn't be has to be genius. The episodes which followed that one also had some of the most heart-wretching stuff in them that I've ever watched but it still got that balance between respect for a very emotional issue and fulfiling its criteria as a sitcom spot-on.
