Remember the rumor before the Vertigo 2005 tour started that the Scissor Sisters were supposed to be the opening act? Too bad that never happened. I think that would have been an excellent choice.
I had no idea who they were when the rumor started, but since then I've heard/seen some of their stuff. Anyone in the USA who has access to Comcast Digital Cable (On Demand) should go to the Music>Concert>Scissor Sisters Live section and watch some of it. I think you might also find it at www.watchconcert.com. I think they are one of the most entertaining new live acts I've seen in a while. Check it out.
I think they're more popular in the U.K., but I think they're still pretty unknown in the USA (although they are American). I notice that they earned two spots on the Live8 DVD when Green Day only had one. (I didn't even know that Scissor Sisters played Live8. Were they in Rome or Berlin or something?
