Time Regained

I saw Raoul Ruiz's film Time Regained yesterday. It's apparently based on a series of books by the French writer Marcel Proust.

It confused the hell out of me, but at the same time I found it quite fascinating, despite not being familiar with Proust's work. I'll probably take the DVD out of the library to try and make some sense of the plot.

Anyone else see this, or has read the work of Marcel Proust?
