Here's a trick:

If you live outside EST, and tickets say go on sale at 9 am. Call a Ticketmaster in Boston or New York when it is THEIR 9 am. YOU have tickets, AND they don't suck. It has worked many a times for me. (Ug, and my friends who got tickets in the heart and I GAVE THEM UP!!!!!!!! AHHH!!!! What kind of fan am I????!!!

I've actually tried this trick before with no success... I even called the day before to see if it would be ok to buy tickets through alternate vendors... although I got the OK initially, they changed policy the next day...blah. I really wanted to climb through the phone and hurt someone at that point...
