my friends and i were just talking about this, and what wrath I received when I told them of things I didn't like that I'm apparently supposed to!

Here's what I came up with for now-

the muppets
the movie "the christmas story"
semi-sweet chocolate chips

:p Olive

Hmm lets see...

I agree with Bachelor etc.
Pets-Love animals but dont really want a pet
Bananas

But most of all not being fond of Ohio State Buckeye football...this is a major sin where I live where Buckeye football is an obcession with nearly everyone.

banquets/dances--our dorm's spring banquet is right now...and there's no end to the places i'd rather be...like sitting here, for example...

partying--i'm a teenager, but sitting around with people i don't know, drinking nasty cheap beer, and getting drunk off my ass is just not fun...

that's all i can think of right now...

Anything that has chocolate in it
Coffee
The TV show "Friends"

You live on a separate planet than me!!! ;)

i thought of another movie-
"Charlie & The Chocolate Factory." Big deal.

- semi-sweet chocolate, white chocolate, and dark chocolate
- "friends" or just about any other popular television show, including all the reality shows
- pop music, rap/rock stuff
- coffee, hot or iced (even frappuccinos!)
- most of the really popular movies

Well, being fifteen...

Lord Of The Rings
nu-metal
all them action movies
fantasy novels

I must be the only fifteen year old who takes delight in David Gray and The Quiet American and Nick Hornby.

Meat, chocolate, caffiene, alcohol (although I do enjoy the occasional pint of Guinness or Sam Adams)

TV

Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage-I don't know which is more painful to watch.

Most musicals

Religion-I'm not trying to piss anyone off by saying that. It just never been anything that has interested me.

agreed twin. but when it's filled with people i *do* know and am drinking vodka (of the vanilla variety). :sexywink:

things....
-tons and tons of preppy snot boys. sorry - just don't do the trick

- people reading over my shoulder - it's creepy

-getting my hair wet.

that's a freak one.

ooh...i thought of a BAAAAAAAAAAAAD one!

CHICK FLICKS ...

 hey twin...that's why i specified ;)....mmm...girly drinks...or vodka with redbull...but that's bad for you...:shifty: i mean....:shifty:

I like a LOT of stuff people mentioned. :hmm:

I don't like:

- reality shows
- pop music
- eggs
- cheese (my friend Justin almost fainted over this one  )

my favorite chick flick is "It could happen to You"

with Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan

their chemistry on screen is undeniable

Nicolas Cage

just makin sure ;)

and no twin - i know nothing about vodka and redbull :shifty:

besides - we're both underage - remember? :uhoh:

another thing: beige shirts. they're very popular here and i think they're monochromatic and boring (all the girls wear beighe shoes, pants, and shirts, no color! a beige shirt is one thing, but beige bodies!!??)

um, twin...bodies are usually beige...:shifty:

and of course i've never consumed alcohol in my life...YOU HEATHEN!

:shifty:

that's not meg ryan, it's bridget fonda.

they did work together in "city of angels," which i'm guessing isn't arw9797's fav ;)

shrimp cocktail :barf:

it's served in every casino here for 99 cents, and people are always saying to me, ooh, let's go get a shrimp cocktail...and i'm always like, no...let's not. those poor little shrimpies sitting there all day in those plastic containers, on that bed of limp lettuce...and that tangy sauce. yuck! but people seem to love it.

Welcome to my world.

Honestly, I am not following the "typical teenager" handbook-I'm not bugging my parents to let me get some odd part of my body pierced or tattooed, I'm not looking to dye my hair or do something else funky with it, if my parents go out for the evening, I'm not going to sneak in a ton of people and throw some wild party...

Nice to see I'm not alone. :).

Anyway, other things...

-I hate wearing makeup. I'll only wear it on these occasions: a, if it's Halloween and part of my costume; b, if it's for a play; or c, if it's for a REALLY special occasion.

Other than that, I never touch the stuff. I just hate how it feels on my face and all that, I'm always afraid to eat something or drink something if I have lipstick on, or that if I get an itch on my face or something that I'll mess my makeup up and everything...it's just not worth it to me.

-arw, I know what you mean, religion isn't something I get all jazzed up about either. I don't go to church anymore, and I personally am grateful for that, because I find that utterly boring. I have my little beliefs, and that's it for me. I'm happy where I am.

But like arw said, no offense to anyone else here.

-I hate tuna. I know so many people out there love tuna...I cannot stand it. I hate the smell of it, the taste of it...blechh. :yuck:.

-I also know that people love putting milk in their cereal...I don't. I eat all my cereal dry, which usually prompts weird looks from most people.

-And I can't stand diet pop. I do not get why so many people drink it. It's gross (the exception being diet Dr. Pepper, that's okay, but I'll only drink that if I absolutely HAVE to, if there's, like, nothing else around to drink).

-I have never seen anything involving Lord of the Rings or read anything involving Lord of the Rings...and I honestly don't have a real desire to, either. That just doesn't seem like my kind of thing.

-I'm also not a huge Harry Potter person. I read one book, and the story is cute and creative and I really admire the author's imagination and all that-that's wonderful. But I just haven't gotten as hyped up about it as other people.

-adamswildhoney, aagh, yes, I did NOT understand the hype surrounding "The Matrix" either! We watched it when I was in 10th grade...I just didn't get it. It didn't engage me at all. I tuned it out and listened to music instead.

-I've also never understood the big appeal surrounding Julia Roberts. She's okay and all...but I've never really gotten her appeal (and that "My Best Friend's Wedding" movie was kinda dumb...none of those people should be allowed to get recording deals). Same goes with Brad Pitt-I mean, he seems like a really nice guy, an okay actor and all...but HE IS NOT CUTE!

-And I'm gonna make a huge confession here now *Takes deep breath*:

I have never, ever, in my entire life, seen anything involving Star Trek or Star Wars.

And I really don't want to, either.

:reject:.

There's some things I can think of.

:( heh...i mean...i didn't beg my parents...they just don't know...:slant:...and i don't think that people "should like" religion...it's about faith, and if you don't have it, it's not like it's "the thing to do" to go to church...i consider it more that i am looked at differently because i do believe strongly in god, and have morals that go along with that...so i guess i could add things that go against my moral beliefs to the list of things i should like but don't...

yeah, but i'm with you on the makeup thing...if people don't want to talk to me cause i don't have gunk smeared over my face, they aren't worth my time anyway...i wear it on special occasions though, like if i'm going out...sometimes...

also, my sister yells at me cause i wear jeans and a tshirt almost every day...what does it matter what i wear? it's always clean and comfy...what else matters?
