It's certainly not good, but it's not quite as bad as you think.

I read a story about this where Pras said he just called Bono up and asked if he could use the song, and they talked for a bit, and that Bono said he could go ahead and use it if that's what he wanted.

So he's not stealing it, if that makes anyone feel better.
