I've been getting better about not getting sucked into things if I'm not in the mood for them. Sometimes I'm right on top of the banter and jokes, and other times it rubs me the wrong way and I get cranky.

So I'm learning to just go away if I'm feeling bristly. But still have my moments. :wink:

I'm the same way....I love to kid around, but I also recognize that sometimes I'm not in the mood....and at times like that, it's wrong of me to impose my mood on others.

Yeah. Sometimes I can go from zero to bitch in two seconds. Or, to put it more mildly, I bristle easily.

It's weird - it's always difficult to read tone online unless you're somewhat familiar with the person, but even then, if you're in the wrong mood, it's really easy to mistake the tone and bristle.

CS/NSW - yeah...i didn't think i'd really partake either. i have an exam tomorrow that i'm supposed to study for. i got sucked in.

I can say, with all honesty, that the only time I'm not in the mood to joke around is if I'm really tired. In any other case, threads like the Liechtenstein one make my heart smile. :)

Ever tried taking a pic of your face with the camera down by your chest, angled up to your face, and shaking the shit out of your face while you take the pic? Seriously disturbing......and great fun when you're drunk.

I would say I've been good, but good is highly boring and not really me, so instead I'll say fine, which is a bit closer to the truth. But really I've been good, because I can't drink or have fun at the moment :madwife:. Can't go to Hong Kong at the end of march either. :rant: Bloody Doctors!!!!
