My uncle lived there before he moved back home. I used to visit him a lot. He lived in Brooklyn too, so I've been there a few times.

Where is Floral Park? that comes to mind.

Is something fields a mall....Roosevelt fields?

Roosevelt Field, yes. Where Charles Lindburgh made his historic flight, is now a shopping mall. If Gettysburg or Iwo Jima were on Long Island, they too would be shopping malls by now. I walk to Roosevelt Field on my lunch breaks at work, because there's nothing else to walk to...except the Source Mall which is on the other side of my office.

Floral Park - there's a big Irish population there, so it might make sense. A few real good Irish bars too. I was two neighborhoods over when I live in Queens.
