By popular demand, we'll do an album thread for this one as well. It was getting quite a few recommendations as well.

Moving on from Tattoo You: Start Me Up, Little T&A and Waiting on a Friend (the last two tied).

Steel Wheels is actually my favorite Stones album. The album came out just before I started my junior year in High School when I was a few months shy of 17. This was at a point in my life where I really started to get into the Stones. Up until then, I had mostly focused on the Beatles. I didn't have a CD player yet, so I bought the cassette. My sister got tickets for one of their shows at Shea Stadium and off I went to my first ever rock concert. An incredible experience.

The tracks I voted for were Slipping Away and Almost Hear You Sigh, but Mixed Emotions, Sad Sad Sad, Rock and a Hard Place, Blinded By Love, and Can't Be Seen are also among my favorites.
