I could only save Ruby Tuesday for so long, apparently. It hits the road, in our first single elimination round of the finals. It was really close to being a quadruple elimination though :hyper:.

We are down to only a handful of songs now, so, at yet another request, I will be switching to single elimination rounds from here on out.

So, please vote for your LEAST favorite track.

Threads are open 24 hours, except when I remember to make them on weekends.

Onwards.

It's a remarkable song and studio construction. The message is youthful and exciting without laying politics on too thick. Meanwhile, they pull off the brilliant trick of making a song about boredom and political unrest sizzle by recording everything way too "hot." It's distorted and fuzzy and it's all performed on acoustic instruments. Using thudding, insistent percussion to represent change and progress is a nice touch as well, a trick that Bruce utilized on Born in the USA.

Voting for SFM here but, yeah, all these songs are untouchable classics.

I'm rooting for Sympathy to win the whole thing at this point. That guitar solo. Mmmmmmmm.
