at the same time, i am sad for france. they played very well, but Zidane made an incredibly stupid move. it is sad that this is how his career ends.

i was in France in 1998 when they won, and it was insanity. i am sure the Italians are celebrating with the same fervor and intensity.

Man, Italy looked exhausted in extra time. France definitely played better overall, had more possession, more energy, more attempts. But I'm happy for Italy cos they haven't won since 1982 and they made a great effort! So unfortunate that Zidane had to go out that way.
