Celebrating that my countdown doesn't look so hopeless anymore! :hyper:

25 days: I'm going home! :D

26 days: I'm meeting LB! :flirt:

Yeah, I had a great week, thanks for asking! :D

Maybe there'll be some pics up later - "Merc and some rocks", "Merc and some more rocks", "Merc and..."

How are you doing Ewen? :)

Btw, forgot to add to the countdown:

29 days: Starting at Uni! :crack:

I'm not bad, thanks. Missing Pax something terrible and my countdown to us meeting again seems to be dragging.

So, what's with the rocks? some strange fetish you not telling us about? shouldn't you let LB know about it? :silent:

i know you said you had some exciting rock shows coming up but that's ridiculous,

Norway rocks! :eeklaugh: :reject:

This country is, apart from the sheeps, goats and a few Norwegians, just rocks, rocks, rocks...

:shh: LB thinks I went up here for the skiing and the pharmacy... :shifty:... no need to tell him about the rocks! :shh:

apart from the goats and possibly fewer Norwegians, sounds just like Scotland.

...throw in a few castles, bagpipes, a heelan coo, haggis, tartan, a few "fuck off"s and lots of rain.

lots of rain? Believe me, we've got that too here on the west coast!

You've got castles, we've got "stave"-churches

You've bagpipes and kilts, we've got skis and knitted sweaters

You've got haggis, we've got "brunost"

Other than that...

We're much the same!

the oldest Stave in Norway, apparently...

Yep, a typical "stave"-church... nice, isn't it?

You want one? You just start building one - if you do a proper job, you'll have it for the next 1000 years, or more...

yes it does look nice.

i'm a bit bored today, think i'll go collect some wood and start work on my stave.

btw, you talk of Norwegian knitwear. must be something to do with the sheep to human ratio but we too are famous for our (drum roll) Aran sweaters....
