He really is....Definetly giving Bono a run for his money

 Oh dear, I didn't just say that. Repeats loudly to myself, "I'm a Bono girl. I'm a Bono girl". Looks at my computer wallpaper....ah, yes Bono...

Tim---thanks again! I just want to fall at your feet and worship you now!

They're all equally good looking (ok, maybe Larry has a slight edge over them all, considering I'm a Larry girl)... :sexywink:

*sips hot toddy and sits in corner, waiting for a handsome and distingushed man much like Mr. Clayton to come walking though the door.

Rebekah put a song in my head.

** Reaches for the iPod and drops a dime on Falling At Your Feet *

every chip from every cup
every promise given up
every reason that's not enough
is falling, falling at your feet

every band elastic limit
every race when there's nothing in it
every winner that's lost a ticket
is falling, falling at your feet
i've come crawling, falling at your feet

everyone who needs a friend
every life that has no end
every knee not ready to bend
is falling, falling at your feet
i've come crawling, now i'm falling at your feet

all fall down (all the manic dazed faces that you pull)
all fall down (all the action is not under your control)
all fall down (the graffiti rolling down off of your tongue)
all fall down (and the compromise you make for some)

every teenager with acne
every face that's spoiled by beauty
every adult tamed by duty
they're all falling at your feet

every foot in every face
every cop's stop who finds the grace
every prisioner in the maze
every hand that needs an ace
is falling, falling at your feet
i've come crawling, and i'm falling at your feet

(all fall down) all the books you never read
(all fall down) just started
(all fall down) all the meals you rushed
(all fall down) never tasted

every eye closed by a bruise
every player who just can't lose
every pop star howling abuse
every drunk back on the booze
all falling at your feet
oh i'm falling at your feet

(all fall down) all the information
(all fall down) all the big ideas
(all fall down) all the radio waves
(all fall down) electronic seas
(all fall down) how to navigate
(all fall down) how to simply be
(all fall down) to know when to wait
(all fall down) this plain simplicity
(all fall down) in whom shall i trust
(all fall down) how might i be still
(all fall down) teach me to surrender
(all fall down) not my will, thy will

sorry :D

hows it going - recovered from wrestling

ok ok, seeing you asked so nicely...

:kiss::kiss::kiss:

and then seeing it's playing now on the radio a  to

My love, she throws me like a rubber ball
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)
But she won't catch me or break my fall.
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)
Baby's got blue skies up ahead
But in this, I'm a raincloud
You know she wants a dry kind of love.
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)

I'm losin' you, I'm losin' you
Ain't love the sweetest thing?

I wanted to run, but she made me crawl
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)
Eternal fire, she turned me to straw.
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)
I know I got black eyes
But they burn so brightly for her
I guess it's a blind kind of love.
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)

I'm losin' you, I'm losin' you
Ain't love the sweetest thing?
Ain't love the sweetest thing?

Blue-eyed boy meets a brown-eyed girl.
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)
You can sew it up, but you still see the tear.
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)
Baby's got blue skies up ahead
But in this, I'm a rain-cloud,
Ours is a stormy kind of love.
(Oh, the sweetest thing.)

there you go :)

so you wanna hear my trip plans - they might involve you!

not proper proper plans but tentative ones that are still flexible. they're more ideas than "plans" set in stone

so gonna go to london and dublin shows like planned but then also gonna catch one on the East coast in the second US leg, probably Washington area. friend and i are gonna go out there for a week and check washington and new york out and obviously catch the show while we're out there. so what do you think would be best because we dont want too much of a "chaotic" show, think twickenham and dublin will be difficult enough. rather a "calmer" show of the ones round there. he wants to go to NY but i think that's gonna be hectic so we thought one of the smaller not so popular venues... what you think?

I actually plan on seeing one in Albany, NY which is about 2 hours north of NYC and is typically more accessible with less rabid fans, so you won't have to camp out for days and should be able to procure General Admission from Ticketmaster instead of through U2.com. I know I'm going to be stretched thin through U2.com anyway, so if I can get them through the normal means, I will. I'll be able to give you more of an educated opinion when the actual annoucements come out. Then we can firm up plans for seeing the best band in the whole wide world!
I'm still planning on seeing them on both coasts and overseas if the sun is smiling on me rightly :D

hmmm, if i can get tickets through u2.com then i probably will just to avoid any problems (although with the u2.com site, thats not a given :slant: )

so do you reckon that would be best because i do want to avoid too many rabid fans - as i say london and dublin are gonna be big and hard enough. willing to camp for a bit if it means i get to be up front as i will do for the shows here but i would like an "easier" show too which is why i'm gonna avoid madison square gardens because i think that'll be hectic.
what amazes me is judging by that list, temporary and unconfirmed as it may be, NY alone is getting the same amount if not more shows than the whole of the UK! insane (and unfair :madspit: )
so yeah, albany sounds like a plan. i have my definites sorted which are london, dublin and and American show and as it goes along i'll see what else i can get in terms of more UK ones like Manchester/Wales etc but i dont want to pre-empt and spend loads of money on tickets here and then not be able to afford to go to America next year. its all gonna be very expensive as it is!
now if i could just stop buying stuff off ebay!

would be great if you could get a show out here though!
how much fun would that be :hyper:

ahhh... members of the octagon bar making u2 travel plans - how nice is that?
I'm planning on Miami for sure and maybe Las Vegas (just sounds like fun). Chicago is for sure as have escort and iPod will travel:). I'm not waiting until they come to STL or KC (if they in fact do) . Maybe an overseas visit (London anyone?) So it looks like the term "overtime" is looming in my
future

and stars you know I'm a bono girl but then again I'm also a Larry, Edge, and Adam girl

I've had Lasix - love it - now have 20/15 vision

there I think that covers the talking points since this morning:)

feeling like Irish coffee tonight - a bit chilly here

Edited to add if you are in place that gets CNN headline news it appears that they now have the story that Adam was in Thailand - plus HTDAAB made it in the top five albums of the year - at least on CNN (but we knew it would right:)?

nurse crissi - i'm in london if you head this way!

**pours irsh coffees**

this tsunami thing is devestating - the death toll just keeps on going up and up and up, it terrible.
weirdest thing was i'd just been watching the DVD "Day after Tomorrow" about these antural disasters and we switched the DVD off and the news was on TV and it was all about this wave tht had just struck. was very surreal and a bit unnerving....
it terrible though, all those people killed and hundreds of thousands homeless, its really is tragic and its taken George Bush and Tony Blair 4 days to comment on it... GRRRR.
at least they've given Aid

It feels like there are so many undecided pieces and parts in my life right now, and the day to day is exciting enough :hyper: I think January will add a lot of clarity for me. The tour should be announced and perhaps we will even be available to purchase tickets. The curious thing will be whether or not they will sell the whole tour before they start or if they sell it in waves.
I think that we can arrange to be flexible enough to be in General Admission together, the only question is how big a party are we going to throw :eyebrow:
I met some great people back during Popmart, but I didn't get as close as quickly as I have with you folks. So, it should extremely exciting! :combust:
London would be very cool  I've wanted to get there for at least the last 10 years... but... we'll see.

goota run - i'll be back later to talk more u2 concerts

oh and by the way, i'm a Bono girl closely followed by Edge but i still adore LArry and Adam. they're all great really but Bono's top for me

Everytime I think about the concert this coming year I get super anxious...I just want my GA tickets NOW, so I can rest! I'm def. going to Columbus and Phillie....maybe Providence if anyone here wants to join ranks on my mission to meet Bono this year. I have to...or I will become severely depressed.

 stars you know I'm game - either way it will be a good time :)

If it means hanging out all day and night with the ladies of the Octagon, count me in! I need to dig up my favorite postcard... Let me look for it now... It's the one that I want Bono to autograph

post 2000 -
just wanted to celebrate in the octagon bar on that one:)

In terms of concert madness - I'm ready - perhaps we will have some news next week:hyper: - I'm hoping they sell in waves and I bet they'll add more shows like they did for elevation

Ha Ha! Found it! I carried this around during PopMart hoping that I would finally get a chance to meet them. It's a little beat up, but I'd still like to get it autographed. A truer caption does not exist.

:applaud: 2000 Yeah! I got my 1000th last night. I was supposed to close the old bar with it, but Tara got post-whore crazy on me. She still owes me for that one :madspit:

I just looked at my little indicator and it says that I registered in July. Funny, I don't think that I actually posted until at least September. Then once I broke the ice, all hell broke lose and this monstrosity was formed

hey everybody! tour talk I see:wink:
its depressing me thinking about whether or not I will get GA tickets. me and rebekah are going to be GA honeys and get to dance with Bono arent we?
both of us will have incredible stories to tell. yeah I camped outside the door for a day and a half in the snow and the rain and I got a perfect spot..he was looking at me the whole time and then I felt my arm being pulled on.....
:D sorry, fantasizing there for a minute:reject:

WTF? the thing said that more people were on than I thought. when I went to look back there wasnt any of the people on that it said before.
so Im alone in the octagon...the new octagon. with dancing floors and a petting zoo
peew. who put in a petting zoo?:eyebrow:
*lets the animals out in the street*
go bother the testjes!

*replaces the zoo with a punching bag*

Im going to be a world champion boxer and beat tania hardings ass

*wakes up in a different place from where she collapsed the night before...*

Where the hell am I? Ahhhh, the swanky new bar! Nice Vertigo throw, I wonder where this came from...

I smell Starbucks....or is that just my imagination?

I wonder what kind of action went on around me? :hmm:

Goes to the bathroom and cleans up. Comes out and looks for any friends that may be here.

Hello? Is there anybody out there?*
