The most beautiful song ever

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Three choices for me -
'Into My Arms' - Nick Cave
'Crash And Burn' - Savage Garden
'Hallelujah' - Rufus Wainwright (Sorry Jeff Buckley fans - but I love Rufus' version more)

But most of all -

'Call And Answer' by Barenaked Ladies

But Im warning you, dont ever do
Those crazy, messed up things that you do
If you ever do
I promise you Ill be the first to crucify you
Now its time to prove that youve come back
Here to rebuild.
Rebuild
Rebuild
Rebuild
Rebuild

Untitled 1
Haffsol
Andvari
Haysatan

Right now, that would be Tomorrow Never Knows, by the Beatles. I think I've been living under a rock, because I just heard this for the first time this week...it's like an early descendant of Radiohead, with the way it's mixed and looped.

Actually, I've always thought "Tomorrow Never Knows" was the very first "techno" song. Listen to "Tomorrow Never Knows" and then listen to The Chemical Brothers "Setting Sun" and "Let Forever Be". They are VERY similar. I remember the very first time I ever heard "Tomorrow Never Knows" and I was thinking to myself Wow. This sounds just like Chemical Brothers!

Ahhh, The Beatles. Light, Light, LIGHT YEARS ahead!

I think you might be right! It's pretty gripping and progressive, and yes, probably Techno.

*patiently waits for "best techno song ever thread"*

Agree with Cash's Hurt... Also have to include One, boring or not, because it strikes me as absolutely stunning every time I hear it (as this morning on radio and I nearly cried). And Wilco's Far, Far Away is very lovely, too. La Cienega Just Smiled by Ryan Adams... in fact, too many by him to mention!
