for only $29.99 you can own an acre of the moon!

I got this spam mail today, which usually I don't even open, but this one caught my eye.

You can own property on the moon? :shifty:

Anyone heard of this? Is this legit or a scam?

Heh heh that's been around for decades. I guess it is legal, but Im not sure how they can sell something that's not actually theres :hmm:

I've got a bridge that I can sell ya for $5 bucks though

It is a scam. You can't even legally own moon rocks.

Besides, you can buy the property, but getting utilities to the property is the real cost!

LOL...a gigantic scam. Decades ago, there was an international treaty forbidding ownership of celestial objects. It belongs to everyone equally.

Even if he theoretically found "a loophole," there's nothing to stop future governments from having their way with the moon and declaring the whole thing null and void, and I'm sure no court in the world will side with this company. I wouldn't waste my money.
