The Kills

Anyone around here listening to The Kills? I just got their "No Wow" album and it has this great creepy, electronic grimey vibe that reminds me of the Raveonettes, but without the Spector-ish, 60s girl group harmonies.

Anyone? anyone?

I listen to them, they're like The White Stripes without all the attetion. I like No Wow, but I still think Keep On Your Mean Side is a little better

love the album art, btw

Love is a Deserter just started playing on my iTunes and reminded me I meant to respond to this thread. So yes, obviously I like The Kills since I'm listening to them right now. I'd never really noticed a similarity with the Raveonettes, but now you've mentioned it I'm sort of hearing it. I quite like the Raveonettes new album too.

And it drives me absolutely insane when I mention this band to someone and they think I'm talking about The Killers. It's like nobody's ever heard of the Kills (an awesome band) while the Killers (somewhat less awesome IMO) are suddenly world famous.
