Hello all. It is just past 10am here. I had six hours of sleep. Some normal person phoned me and now I can't go back to sleep. Well done, you guys sure have postwhored it up in my absence that has proved to be briefer than expected.

Who the hell is awake at 8:45.

Who the hell is awake at 10.

Damn daylight.

Daylight woke me up.

I dozed from 6 until 8:45 than decided to get up

Because I live in a block of flats designed by an idiot, the eastern flats block the sun entirely from my bedroom. Well, occasionally at about 10:30am in spring I can see a ray creeps in for about five minutes. And that's it. The lack of sun helps me sleep, at least.

Ax do make sure you read back for the Dikhil and Djibouti jokes.

Yeah i haven't left yet.... :reject:

I have utterly no doubt there's a whole lot of them.

You should stay.

I skipped work Sunday and moved it to tonight.

I'm out.

I really like that photo game but I dunno if we are doing it right.

The problem with these threads are that the US people are generally asleep when the Aussie people get going. Except Ian. He's usually here. And sometimes Axver.

My sleep patterns have ceased to make sense.

As long as you're around in your evening, that's my afternoon.

Though soon I'll be back in uni at class at those times. Damn. :(

I'm playing Pokemon on my Gameboy right now.

Retro, baby.

Wow, I remember doing that when I was 12. Which means 1999, not 2003 or whatever stupid year you think it should be.

 That's dedication.

In my re-reading, I haven't gotten up to a photo game yet ...

Have a good one!

I got it for Christmas in '99.

You were what, eight then? Damn. I didn't even have my first computer until I was nine.

And that was a sack of eighties crap my mother's boss was going to dump at the rubbish tip and instead gave to her for free. Actually, now I miss it. It had the very original Prince of Persia game.

I was two weeks from being 9.

I remember being so excited the first day I had it, I think I got through 6 of the 8 gym leaders that day.

Hang on, even my old Gameboy was my friend's sister's reject. I got that when I was 12. I've bought a couple of computers new ... and that's it.

And the first computer I bought new was back in the day when 3GB of hard drive memory didn't seem stupid.

I can't be fucked reading the Australian thread parts that i missed.

You should. It'll tantalise you.

And here I am, catching up on all your Djibouti postwhorage!

Yeah, now I could probably download 3GB in a morning.

Take THAT, December 1997.

Dikhil just looked really limp on the field last season - come on, how hard is it to get up for the big game?

:lmao:

That's the best Dikhil joke I've read so far.
