A Night Like This has always been one of my favorites.
__________________While Staring at the Sea might be an obvious choice because it's a singles collection, I would just recommend getting Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, because it probably has the widest range of musical styles of any Cure album, which would give you an idea of what they can really do. It was also their breakthrough record, and is high on the list of many fan's favorites. laz |

No. I am dead serious. The singer is constantly annoying and embarrasingly creepy. What's with big shirts and tight pants? He's like 50 and still wears that make-up. His vocals are mediocre, at best. Hardly any technique. The songs are decent but nothing really special. The few people that enjoy their music overate them. None of the musicians are particularly good and the songs don't really convey anything special. *yawn* |

Alright, just imagine three letters right before everything I wrote: IMHO.
There, I just rendered your post useless. As a matter of fact, I'm editing mine. |

Pop: Just Like Heaven, In Between Days, High Rock: Killing an Arab, A Forest Anyways, you must listen to the Cure. Robert Smith is an extremely talented vocalist/songwriter/guitarist. Just brilliant. |
