He whistle-trains dogs as Jean's husbanddd.

I also loved the fruity pit crew guy, Glen.

Glen: I'm going to my grandma's 88th birthday party, what should I get her?

Pit Guy at Bar: a coffin.

I just saw this movie and IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!

"you can pray to baby Jesus, teenage Jesus, Adult Jesus or Bearded Jesus" ...

The entire knife scene was HILARIOUS!!! ....

I went to the Brickyard 400 the other day (yes, I went to a NASCAR race)...and the had a whole Ricky Bobby merch truck!

I asked them for a Crystal Gayle shirt. They looked at me funny.

Aaaaand Glen played a waiter at the country club and Ricky's mom was the undercover FBI agent obsessed with George Sr.. Did you get a trailer to Stranger Than Fiction attached with your movie? I swear about 5 people in the theatre yelled out "Buster!" when Tony Hale made his appearance

Ricky's mom looks like my Algebra teacher :shifty:

Yesssssssss, and I was wearing my Buster shirt and yelled "BABY BUSTER!"

My fellow AD fan and I really want to see that movie.

"SHAKE N' BAKE! Did you see that? THAT JUST HAPPENED!"

Every line from Sacha Baron Cohen was amazing.

Other than that, I think the movie was trash. It's not that I don't like these kind of movies, because Anchorman is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

Ricky Bobby isn't fit to sniff Ron Burgundy's mustache.

My best friend just saw the movie and she said she "didn't think it lived up to the hype" :| ...I then went on to say "Really? you didn't like ____" and I went on to remind her of the movie and she took back her statement..LOL
Ricky Bobby was amazing! I'm going to see it again this weekend! I MUST!
You gotta Shake it before you bake it!

Pfft.

One man's opinion, zonester. One man's opinion.

I just thought most of the jokes were too obvious and it was lacking the quirky wit that made Anchorman so hilarious. I also thought that Ricky Bobby was an extremely unlikeable character.

you're right, Ricky wasn't that likable.

I started to like him after he went to his mother's house and was being trained by the deadbeat father.

I GOT A COUGAR ON ME

I'm glad alot of the humor was different from Anchorman, because they're two totally different entities. But there were tons of great "Wtf" jokes, random ramblings, and just in-your-face funny stuff catered to make fun of the South, which makes me especially happy inside.
