OK, it isn't an album, but I think that this music DVD also deserves a mention. :)

Elvis Costello and The Imposters - Club Date: Live In Memphis

And I also bought the 2 Disc Special Edition of Scarface, but that one certainly doesn't belong in this thread (even though it apparently had quite an influence on hip hop).

i went to my favourite second hand record shop yesterday and picked up the following vinyls:

japan: adolescent sex lp
david sylvian: gone to earth lp
new order: bizarre love triangle 12"
new order: brotherhood lp
duran duran: notorious 7"
duran duran: i don't want your love 12"
duran duran: burning the ground 12"
duran duran: electric barbarella 12"
duran duran: astronaut lp (still sealed!!)

and now i'm waiting for a slew of lps from all over the world to start pouring in. i should probably stop buying them but it's an obsession :uhoh:

the police:
zenyatta mondatta
ghost in the machine
(both on lp) - didn't technically buy these, my parents gave them to me as i'm the bigger police fan and i conveniently owned every police album except for the two they did. ironic, huh?

japan:
adolescent sex
obscure alternatives
quiet life
tin drum
(all on lp, thank you ebay!)

dolphin brothers: catch the fall (cd)

jbk: ism (cd)

david sylvian:
camphor
the good son vs. the only daughter
(both cd)

i need to cut myself off, for real. :crack:

I love it! I have seen them at a festival in the Netherlands last year and I loved the show, but I didn't have any money to buy the album. Now I've finally got it.

The White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan...

i didn't really want to, but i had to replace a copy i had borrowed. :censored:

it caught a sharp corner on my desk. ripped a perfect scratch through "My Doorbell". on the data side.

how messed up is that?

How is it?

The Stellastarr album kicked butt.

I'm digging it. Mello and he plays all the instuments. A throwback to early McCartney stuff. No silly love songs.
