Is this for fact?

Led Zeppelin - DVD for me. The Flaming Lips movie Fearless Freaks is also brilliant.

Travis - More Than Us (Live At Glasgow)

Gin Blossoms - Just South Of Nowhere (Live in Chicago)

This conversation begins and ends with Stop Making Sense. There's simply nowhere to go but down, once you've seen it.

I haven't seen a whole lot of these, but Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii probably tops my list. Awesome songs and environment, topped with great interviews and behind-the-scenes stuff.

couple more

1. Heima - Sigur Ros

One that hasn't been mentioned:
Joe Strummer - The Future is Unwritten

Definitely. My copy gets the most use out of all my DVDs. So good.

Seriously if we're talking about U2, Rattle & Hum and the One documentary on the 90s dvd were far more interesting to me than U23D. Also, Popmart Sarajevo.

for some reasons AC/DC dvd's are by far my favourites to pop into the dvd player

live albums = Frank Zappa

Rolling Stones - Cocksucker Blues

I've heard a lot about this. Was it ever officially released, or is it just out of print? An ex-boyfriend of mine had a bootleg copy.

Can I toss out there Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band at the Hammersmith whatchamacallit, the '75 show that was included in the Born to Run reissue?

Damn, wotta concert.

:eeklaugh: Are you being serious? I thought you only liked making fun of the Blossoms.

You are correct, I do only like making fun of the Gin Blossoms. How long is a 2-song concert? Or do they repeat them Vertigo-style?

These kinds of questions keep me up at night.

To be fair, that's a cracking dvd though... you gotta give it a chance! :tsk:

You could be right, but I'm far more content being an asshole.

Oh c'mon who can resist this little ditty...

Whispers at the bus stop
I heard about nights out in the school yard
I found out about you
Found out about you

6th grade suburban white girl lyrics?

I didn't know the Gin Blossoms worked with Scott Stapp.

It was never officially released, no.

My crazy Aunt out in San Jose, Ca owns a bootleg of it, though. Wild stuff.

And the Springsteen Hammersmith concert is the best and most kickass document of the Boss in his prime.

Top tune.....how about this lyric from 2006's comeback Major Lodge Victory:

I heard about your father,
And it was sad to hear,
I would have made the service,
But I thought it might be weird,
My family sent some flowers,
He was such a kind old man,
That time he caught us kissing,
Behind the old bandstand.

Fuck yeah!
