The 2005 New Zealand Sheep Dog Trial Results Are In!

B-I-N-G-O!

They are finally here. The TUX North Island & New Zealand Sheep Dog Trail Championship results are here at last! :relief:

It is common knowledge that these events comprise 4 seperate courses, each having its own unique characteristics. Here is a link to the overall results for the Long Head, Short Head & Yard, Zig-Zag Huntaway and Straight Huntaway events!

Congratulations to Garry Murphy and his trusty dog Tana who scored a record high 97.9 from the judge Rod Thompson a whole point ahead of the competition.

Garry and Tana would naturally be knighted had Jim Bolger not abolished the British honours system.

What pissed me off the most what David McNab's piss poor judging during the Straight Huntaway portion of the competition. I think quite honestly his best days are behind him.
