teflon flu?

after seeing news reports this week, and 20/20 last nite, and their report on teflon, i'm not sure what to think any more. it's definitely enough to make you think about something that most people use every day. teflon is in almost everyone's blood? teflon flu? teflon kills birds? or worse?

I haven't read anything specific on this, but I'll throw in my two cents anyway. I use to have pet birds, and as a bird lover, was always advised against using Telfon pans in my house as the fumes would be toxic to my beloved pets. So if it's not good for them....

It's funny that this is just now making big news. I had heard about it many years ago.


I still use teflon pans, but mostly I cook using casserole dishes in the oven.

Well we have been using our new George Foreman grill and that has a non stick surface and I would imagine that it gets very hot.

i just noticed that my favorite pair of black pants for wearing to work (dockers), have stain guard...with teflon in them
