We're under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 pm our time, though...and there's a couple of counties a ways west of here that are actually under tornado warnings right now .

Storms with those tornado warnings in those counties earlier fizzled out, all the rain went north of us (some pretty impressive-looking thunderheads off in that direction an hour or so ago), and now there is blue sky and it's turned out to be a lovely evening. Temperature's cooled off a bit, too (not that it was really hot today to begin with or anything, though). So yay !
