this week's episode... even jeff couldn't get me excited tonight. i'll blame that on my shitty week, though...i was glad to see dan leave. he was worthless.

of course, being female, i like to see the women win the challenges, but c'mon...this is not the brightest group of girls. don't even get me started on the bathing scene...sweet of them to bathe seperately from the "older" women, wasn't it? that way there weren't any "problems."

it's "funny" they separated the girls and the boys (women and men?) When they finallly reunited, the men were going "gaga" at seeing the bathing beauties, and the women were trying to get something to eat before the men ruined everything...that was just a small bit i caught on the last episode...

next, before they do anything on poor, aids-ridden islands, they should go to Ireland, where tribal rivalries are well established...

Eep poor Shawna I know she's being a big whiner but I cant help but feel bad for her. I can see myself in that position. Stuck there feeling like complete shit and no one will help you. Ah well I guess that's all part of the game. Which is why I would never apply to this game.. I wouldnt last 3 days.

I haven't had much luck with watching Survivor this time around. The second week I set my vcr to tape a channel that doesn't even exist so I missed that. Tonite it was delayed because of the press conference so I turned it on and it was the last 5 minutes! well at least I know who got kicked off.

Yeah, the women are quite stupid. I understand how much you want to get ahead, but their biggest problem is beating them. ..as for the guys, they seemed to finally pull it together...good for them. Next week looks funny (date with the rocket scientist and Jenna )...but normally, the date thing happens either a) when the two tribes merge, or b) as an individual reward (after the two tribes merge)...What the heck is going on?

I was thinking that perhaps one of the men win a rewards challenge and they get to pick one of their guys to have a special dinner and that *that* guy gets to pick someone from the opposing tribe to have it with him..... Hmmmm, writing it down makes it sounds very iffy!

Who knows what the reason is, but it looks to be funny!

My two boys (10&12) watch the show with me, and everytime they comment about how all the guys do is talk about the women. They just don't get that at all

True...I was surprised that they felt they were at the point of voting off the strongest member. But Joanna was too combative and irritated every fibre in my being--I'd have voted her off immediately. And Joanna was the one who caught a big stick while she was fishing, too!

Heidi and Jenna make me sick with their "Oh, the other women have more body fat to live off of so they should do more work" comments. I mean, puh-lease. I can't believe that they've gone all the way to Survivor and are planning on using their bodies to get them to the final. I'm not a feminist, but what the heck does that say about women? That we can't think for ourselves and have to objectify ourselves to get far in life? How does that feel to them (Jenna and Heidi) to know that they're only being sought after for their boobs and butt? What does this say about society?
