i should have just said this thread is about "the rat" by the walkmen.

studies have shown that no song has kicked ass quite so hard in this century, or any other.

the song makes me type so hard, the keys have melted into the very bottom of my laptop. my face is grim, and my palms sweaty as i try to comprehend the oceans of gore and the voids of endless ultraviolence that this song instills in me.

thinking of a dream i had is frickin' amazing!!! it came out the same time "Vertigo" was released and when i heard it for the first time (they were supposed to be playing the "new U2" coming up very soon) i thought it was "vertigo" (since i had never heard the real vertigo before).

anyways, i was so excited and was loving the song, and then the vocals kicked in and i was like this isn't Bono . . . is it????

turns out, it wasn't. but that song kicks serious ass!
