that is a classic episode. and i have seen it probably a half dozen times.
sadly, i still missed the reference.
not sure what my favorite all-time episodes are. here are some in no particular order:
1. Mr. Bergstrom (Season 2, with Dustin Hoffman) -- "Lisa's Substitute"

4. The Cape Fear parody episode

7. Rosebud -- this might be the best ever episode

12. $pringfield (Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling) -- another one of my absolute all time favorites
