Ha, no, I wasn't sayin you guys should stop writing the 'cock songs. They're great. I was just fuckin around.

That Breathe performance rules. Especially once Bono got up on the table. I like how he's looking over the crowd at his band singing "We are people born of sound, the songs are in our eyes..."

And the rest of that ending kicks ass. I mentioned it earlier but "Sing your heart out, sing my heart out...I found grace inside a sound, I found grace, it's all that I found" leading into the last chorus is one of my favorite moments on the album.

Stories for Ball Boys

There's a place I go
For a roll in the hay
There's a burlesque show
That makes me "grow"

Sometimes Lance's Mom takes me
Sometimes I don't let go
Jai ho, jai ho!

There's a porno mag
With colored photographs
There's a centerfold
That jolts my staff

Sometimes Lance's Mom takes me
Sometimes I don't let go
Jai ho, jai ho!

There's a place I go
Where ladies have a fee
There's an aging ho
That I will ball

Sometimes Lance's Mom takes me
Sometimes I can't let go
Jai ho, jai ho!

That was for you, NO BROKEN SERVES.

I would agree, but I think that Beautiful Day is a epic as they come.

I'm not a big BD fan, believe it or not. I mean, I like it and all and sing along in concert, but, it's nothing I yearn to listen to or hear Live. ATYCLB's best song, for me, is "When I Look at the World".

I think that's where the bar was previously set. My love for Breathe could drop off a bit and I may eventually be embarrassed of these posts, Axver in '04 style, but I really think this one is up there with their very best in a long time.

I approve of your Slumdog mocking. Very timely.

There definitely needs to be Christian Bale samples on one of these albums.

What's the possibility of getting together some of our more musically inclined Cock Force members and trying to record one of these? Could you imagine?

We could use an instrumental track and do it like we did the Interferers a couple years back.

I like Beautiful Day a lot, but sometimes I find it a little lacking. I remember the day the CD came out (a coworker had gone to Tower Records the night before at midnight and picked up copies for me, him and another coworker), listening to it on my Discman and wondering where the oomph was. The chorus needs more oomph.

And then it finally comes in at the "what you don't have you don't need it now" part, where Adam's bass makes an oomphy appearance and it's like, "Dude, where've you been for the past three minutes?"

But it's a lovely song, and if I listen to it in the right mood, it makes me very smiley.

The problem with Beautiful Day is that it was written during the album when Boner lacked any semblance of a voice.

Couple of thoughts:

1. I thought Rolling Stone was retarded when they gave this album 5 Stars, but I'm starting to move in that direction myself. Sorry Impor.

2. I love Unknown Caller, but I have absolutely no fuckin' idea what its about. That's after being told what it's about.

I really hope they don't drop it for the No Puns On The Horizon tour. This is the best Boner has sounded in quite some time.

Yeah, it's my least favorite album opener, least favorite lead single. I don't dislike the song, but it's like a computer made the "perfect" Shuttlecock song, and aside from a few choice moments it's rather MEH.

Cock On FTW on that album, though When I Look At The Serve is my personal favorite. I can only imagine how good the latter would have been live, had they bothered to fucking play it.

And since I only listen to ATYCLC in the original track order, it sits nicely in the #10 spot where it fucking belongs, not buried somewhere on side two like a limp cock.

I think it's a win-win: if they drop it, they finally are moving on from some of the regulars. If they don't, Boner will sound better.

If you think I think it makes a shit, you're mistaken. I'm actually really glad everyone else likes it because I'm glad y'all are happy and not disappointed. Maybe I'm just missing something. Maybe I've moved on musically. I don't know.

He's all growns up! That's my boy, In My Place13!

OK....I ham not going back through thousands of posts in three thread, but, I am wondering if this has been discussed:

The "M" in "ATM" stands for "MACHINE" - so, when you have a somewhat decent song, why would you ruin it with redundancy? Or is that just a dumb question to ask of Boner?
