I lived on " Love street" the inspiration for the doors song " love street" theres a part in the song when Jim breaks into poetry about " she lives on love street, theres a store where the creatures meet" That is the laurel country store and deli located high in the hills, he used to hang on his porch and write poetry and drink watching all the hippies hang out there, that was right down the road from me.

wonderland murders were a very horrific event that happened in the early 80's in the hollywood hills, it spawned a movie featuring Val Kilmer playing pornstar John Holmes. It happened during his drug useage, about 6 people slaughtered in a house on Wonderland street. and they were beaten so bad, the LAPD said they had never seen anything like it
