Now that the New Year is upon us, be sure to take sometime to slow down and appreciate friends, family, and life in general, so you don't get "Rattled By The Rush."

Rattled By The Rush? Maybe this should have been the thread before Christmas. :D

I like it.

 Thanks. Pavement's one of my favorite bands.

BTW, I saw your best of 2008 list, and I didn't know you liked Black Mountain. :hi5:

I haven't listened much to Pavement to be honest. :hmm:

I've only heard Into The Future and it is

You should. A friend of mine really likes them because they have some classic rock and prog elements in their songs.

 So  Definitely one of my favorites for the year.

 ...and you still wouldn't give it a perfect rating. You're a tough critic.

 I guess I wouldn't give any of the albums that I love a perfect rating though, there are still even the most minor flaws. I just don't think any album is perfect.

I think there are around ten albums that I'd consider perfect which makes top 10 album lists pretty easy.

 I bet.

I always have trouble making lists because I go in phases with bands, but there are usually a few albums/bands that I keep coming back to.

I go through phases with bands too but certain albums just stand out.

The hardest lists for me would involve songs because those rankings would change daily.

 Yeah, I never try to make song lists because of that exact problem.

*barges in*

I keep seeing "rattled by the rush" pop up in the Last Post column. Must listen to Wowee Zowee now!:drool::drool:

:hi5: Fantastic album! Probably my favorite Pavement one, followed closely by Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain.

Where is the who posted list? :shifty:

I don't know how to do it. :reject:

I suspect that in the future B&C will have a top 100 song list which would be a nightmare for everyone involved.

 I will so not be participating in that...
