Here's some personal info, my Droogs, if you feel like reading:

Had my 2nd angioplasty yesterday, am home from the hospital now. Tired as fuck from 2 nights of zero sleep, but, feeling good otherwise. Need a few days rest, then it's pretty much back to doing stuff without risk/fear. Anyway, there's the update, thanks for reading if you did so.

I was doing math in my head yesterday about this, trying to figure out if this was coming up or not and if your not being here was related to it.

One step closer to your dream of cyborgism.
Glad to hear your're doing well

It will all be worth it when Bono stares directly at YOU, and sings the last five songs to YOU.

Yes it is, and I have no idea what it's referencing.

"Human" by The Killers or the fact that Dalton is an Indian with many children, which of these confuses you?

Nice tags, Ashley. :sexywink:

You'll have to thank Travis for most of them,, but I threw the Steely Dan one in obvs.

Fabulous to hear, am very glad. I kind of figured that's where you'd been the last few days. :). I really am glad you're OK.

Will Bono read the lyrics to Rehab after MOS tonight to eulogise the hot mess?

Thinking about staying away from facebook today, not sure I can handle 90% of my friends posting "I said no no no" updates

I would be slightly surprised if he didn't dedicate MOS to her. The lyrics fit much more for her death than for Clarence's, as cool as the Jungleland snippet was.

Glad to hear that you're doing better, NSW.

Thank you, sir.

Great news, NSW.

:)

Thanks!

NSW BLAH BLAH BLAH

Touching, as per usual.

Glad you're very much alive, NSW. Would really blow if you weren't. :brohug:

Agreed, thanks. :)

Thanks....read another 150 pages or so of A Dance with Dragons so there was that. :)

I was being jovial, as no one else has been jovial yet apart from loling at carek. Her death is sad, but so unsurprising.

Today's haul:

Arrested Development Box Set (ZS/this thread, prepare to spammed incessantly with opinions and quotes that you've already heard a million times)
The Social Network 2 Disc Set (for $13!!)
Liam Finn - Fomo ($20, in that flimsy cardboard. I wish they'd stop putting albums out this way. A crappy foldout drawing in lieu of liner notes/lyrics. But there is another CD with another song and four live versions.)

And I borrowed Caddyshack from the video store, since I had a great laugh at Chevy Chase throwing a shot of tequila over his shoulder.

Man, fuck all y'all. Seriously.

I tried to watch Inception tonight, and I kept getting pulled out of it a little cause DiCaprio's character's name is Cobb, and all I could think about when I heard it was "Friggin' Cobbler". Though, if I understand the ending correctly (and no guarantees I do, because trying to interpret it makes me go cross-eyed), he kinda deserves a Friggin' Cobbler.

Anyway, had to share that with you fucks. Carry on.

I should watch that movie.

Here's a friggin cobbler for yall - I was going to keep quiet but fuck it - I was wondering if Caddyshack why imps sometimes calls me Ty Cobb? And then I did a google search which revealed he's a famous baseball player. lol

no less than EIGHT rain snippets tonight.

AFL is no better or worse than our best sports, of course, but that was some feat of athleticism. Nice.

Ty Cobb is fairly legendary, both in good and bad ways.

I fucking love this song, and 2:04 - 2:53 is bad-ass.

My favorite Ty Cobb stat: he once led the majors in home runs with a staggering total of eight. All of them were in-the-park.
