I don't feel the need to see Black Keys again, but if St V were opening in Seattle, I'd totally go.

But she's not, so I won't.

Unless I totally love the new album. Which, if it's anything like that first song released, I won't.

Wu Tang/RTJ would be so much fun.

The Head and the Heart are terrible, but otherwise that's a great batch of shows.

It's no question, though, that the first two songs we ever heard from her are BY FAR the best two songs she's released. Vidja Games and Blue Jeans are stone-cold post-Kanye classics.

I have never liked Lana Del Ray's music. At all.

This is pretty cool though:

You motherfuckers. I'd go to all of those for five fucking dollars. I would strongly urge you get to the Thundercat/Lauryn Hill gig. My boy Stephen Bruner kills it live.

Well, this Annie opening for The Black Key$ shit totally blows.

What a disgrace. Luckily, I am seeing her five minutes from my house at her own show in a couple weeks.

That's all I'm sure on, though I'll probably go see The Budos Band, and bail before the headliner plays. If the unannounced openers are decent, I'll do the same.

Apparently the person who booked the shows for the last however many years, quit. This is still better than I was expecting, so that's good.

TV on the Radio and Twin Shadow is an awesome twin billing.

Agreed.

I'm glad to find out I'm not spending enough time on the internet any more to know that. :)

I know Future Islands was mentioned a few days (or weeks, I have no concept of time any more) back. Was this shared? If not, watch this and be entertained.

I only got to 1:15, right after the inexplicable fist pump in the air.

It's not just the dancing, which, granted, is terrible, but the outfit, the receding hairline, and all the hand gestures that go with it. He also looks like Marlon Brando and Morrissey had a premature baby and he failed to inherit the talent of either.

OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED AFTER 3:05? That satanic orc bellow followed that freaky shuffle?

And Letterman is fucking with him, right?

Beats are a mediocre product for the price; a fashion statement at best. Seems like the last thing Apple would want to align themselves with at this point.
