Question about an Ipod

I've got the u2 ipod; got all my u2 on there, etc.

now, I've got a ton of tunes on my computer, either on kazza lite or limewire.

I've got the roxio cd burner on my computer. so far the only way I can seem to get the tunes I have downloaded to my ipod is to burn them onto a cd and then import the cd contents to the ipod.

seems like a hassle and apple is no help; anyone know a shortcut to do this?

But isn't the songs that you downloaded of kazaa or limewire in some folder (possibly marked "shared")?

B/c when you start up itunes, to add songs to the library, you'd have to go to File>add folder (or >add file for just that one song from the folder). So I don't think you need to waste cds in trying to burn and then import the songs you already have on the pc in the first place.
