I meet these guys about 3 years ago after a small club show. They are really nice guys that were singing great rock music until they got big and everyone made them out to be some sell outs like Creed. They are from my hometown and threw a free show at West edmonton mall. Hey they were nice to me!!!

whats with you and houses? you sound like a three year old.

they might be nice guys, same with the guys from creed, but their music rots.

*snicker*

That's pretty funny. Not very nice, but pretty funny.

Does Creed have plans to play in portugal? ;) :lmao:

BAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I agree... damn waste of a perfectly good bird to microwave it. Dries out the meat.

Me personally, I prefer the deep fat fryer to seal in the juices. Barring that, one can always broil the bird. The bottom line is this: when it comes to poultry, the time saved by using the microwave is simply not worth the lost flavor.

while i am not a nickelback fan, i think it sucked big time that they had rocks thrown at them. what was the purpose of them spending money on the tickets anyways? i think thats psychotic. for someone to buy the tickets to throw rocks at them is just disturbing and going too far in my opinion.

i wouldn't pay to throw rocks at them, that's just me though. maybe some people felt it was worth it to give up a few bucks to throw rocks at them. oh well.

that's just disgusting. no one deserves to have rocks thrown at them. it's not funny, it's just rude and undeserving.

When I first read the title of this thread I laughed. But then I read your post and I felt ashamed of myself. I can't stand Nickleback's music, but no one deserves to have rocks thrown at them. The people who did that have no class at all.

:reject:

If I was Nickelback I would have had the house lights turned on, had security escort those fans out, then continued the show for the fans that did pay to see them.

The irony being, they were covering Bob Dylan's "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35."

In all seriousness, one wonders what lead to this rock-throwing. People don't normally go to concerts with the intention of throwing rocks, so what was the difference in this case?

Was the crowd simply overly rowdy? Was Nickelback part of a larger concert and considered out of place? Did Nickelback somehow offend the crowd? Certainly, the dumb schmucks who threw the rocks should be held accountable, but there may be an explanation for what happened.

Its suxs that they got rocks throwen at them bc no matter how crappy a band is they dont deserve to get stuff throwen at them. But hey I cant blame the ppl if they like good music and Nickelback isnt that good.

All I know is that the lead singer is REALLY mean to bands they've toured with. Maybe fame has gone to his head, but I personally don't like him.

Oh? Where've you heard this?

yeah, where HAVE you heard this? the lead singer is nice to bands they tour with, he's even produced a lot of up and coming bands' albums.
