University of South Australia. I don't have to move anywhere since there's a 15 minute walk to the train station and that takes me to the CBD easily.

As for moving out of the house? I'll likely stay where I am until I'm in my early 20s.

My parents are actually in no hurry to kick me out.

I don't see how that's relevant. I'm pretty sure my mother would've been happy to keep mothering me at home for years, but I was an adult so I moved out. Staying home into your twenties is a bit sad if you ask me.

I'm just kidding. I know he wasn't kicked out.

Also, congratulations on another successful trip around the giant ball of fire and radiation approximately 93 million miles away, Axver! :)

I was just replying to Vlad saying his parents are in no hurry to kick him out - should've quoted him. If you have the means, I don't see why anybody would stay at home, unless they don't want to ever have a girlfriend/boyfriend or be independent and have their own space. Now, I understand why some people with really shitty jobs (especially overseas, where the minimum wage isn't as good as Australia's) stay at home, or people whose parents live a block away from the uni/work and you'd be daft to leave a perfect location, or some other exceptional circumstance, but I think it's mildly ridiculous that it's becoming the norm to stay home past 20, rather than having moved out by then.

And thank you! I've eaten way too well the last couple of days in honour of this annual "accomplishment".

One of my friends is 21, has finished her degree, and is in no hurry to move out. I would feel SO GUILTY. There is no fucking way my parents should have to pay for me by this age. Her parents pay for all her stuff too, like her car and petrol and everything. It's fucking bullshit. Even if your parents have the means to do that, it teaches you NOTHING about financial responsibility and you'll be completely fucked the moment you're out on your own. Moving out while you're at uni is one of the best things you could do, in my opinion.

I don't want to stay at home forever, obviously, but I don't have a job yet and I haven't reached 18. When I do get a job and I manage to accumulate a decent amount of money, then of course I'm going to be looking to move out. I just have neither of those things yet.

Thanks, Cobbler.

And damn my internet has run out somehow. I had 200G a month and now I'm back to dialup speed?

Blue Hawaii is back. I'm supposed to go to bed in 30 minutes, but if I can find this album, it can wait.

You need to stop downloading all that hardcore radical Marxist porn.

Oooh! I had no idea they were working on new material. :hyper:

It comes out in 4 days regardless, I'll just order it tomorrow, I can wait. The lead single is making me afraid they're trying too hard to be labelmate, Grimes.

That being said, it's not that I don't like the songs:

Blue Hawaii

I'm assume via download?

Let me know what you think, I'll hear it soon... in the meanwhile, I'm going to reacquaint myself with Blooming Summer. I can't believe I totally forgot about this band.

I always play Dream Electrixra (it's something of a song for Charlotte and I), but I kind of neglected the rest of Blooming Summer. Replayed it recently and I'd forgotten how good some of the other songs are.

And yeah, it's via a Mediafire-esque site, so I guess you're not keen?

Nah, I stopped downloading for good a few months back, except I downloaded Ke$ha's newest :uhoh: :lmao:

I'm going to relisten to Blooming Summer tomorrow, but oh shit, the first three tracks so far are just as sexy as I remember.

Actually it's weird since my iPod is at normal speed, likewise the iPad belonging to my dad. :crack:

It's just the computer going slow as all hell.

So nice when someone's sad-bastarding on Facebook chat to remind them that they do not corner the market on human suffering, especially when it's the sad bastard's own actions that led to their downfall.

You should go one step further and revive the Ghost of Axvers and Timothiuses Past and try to fill the entire first page of PEUP with threads about Victorian sports.
