I was trying to find something to entertain myself on the radio in the U-Haul on an eight hour journey on Sunday, and I came across the NASCAR broadcast. Can someone explain to me why (WHY) on earth would you listen to a radio broadcast of cars going around in circles? Circles, people, circles. Where is the adventure?

when i was at college in new hampshire i was forced into working a nascar event at louden speedway as a "fund raiser" for the athletic department... to this day, still one of the absolute worst experiences of my life.

i am really curious to see what i will think about attending a NASCAR event. i know many females who love it and of course those who hate it. me being open to pretty much anything will go in expecting nothing but drunk hicks yelling at cars. lol which should not be anything new for me considering where i grew up.

i was listening to one of the local stations here in DC one morning and they were talking about NASCAR......they hate Jeff Gordon....I have never heard anything like it.
