There may have been the mildest scratch on snicko, but you can't be sure, especially not with all the noise out there. In a situation like that, surely benefit of the doubt lies with the batsman - hell, surely in a situation with so much doubt and uncertainty, the basic principle of DRS is to stick with the umpire's original decision, which in this case was not out.
