Given the Boxing Day Test as we know it began in 1980, I had no idea that Greg Chappell was a leading imperialist.

I thought you would jump to correct our good friend on his use of the word "imperial".

NZ all at sea against South Africa. The Kiwis will be lucky to pass 100 this series.

Make that 7/31. Philander's taken 5 wickets in 6 six overs and conceded just 7 runs.

Fucking fuck off.

I've been waiting for the day some other team scores 25 or worse, so that New Zealand no longer has the indignity of having the lowest Test innings ever (26 vs England in 1955).

However, rate we're going, we will beat our own record in the second innings of this Test!

HAHAHAHAHA I'm sorry but that's the most hilarious score.

South Africa are bloody ridiculous when they decide to turn it up.

Don't worry, I'm laughing. It's all I can do. I mean, you know a cricketing situation is hilariously bad when even Charlotte turns and asks "have you seen how terribly New Zealand's going in the cricket?"

theres only 1 team capable of breaking supporters hearts more than nz

and thats the sri lankans. the reason why? sl look to have a reasonable batting team. but they barely make the follow on target against australia

maybe nz will play this game out to the 3rd day

I'd just like to take this moment to point out Rangana Herath's full name. On a team known for epic names, his takes the cake:

Herath Mudiyanselage Rangana Keerthi Bandara Herath

Yep, his parents loved "Herath" that much, they couldn't give it to him just the once!

And Russell Arnold's middle name is "Premakumaran"

His story was American missionaries went to Sri Lanka in the 19th century and gave them English names
