Try to find that Jacques Brel song. Even though it's in French (and I can't understand much of it), it has an intensity that's severely lacking in the version by Terry Jacks.

And that Elvis Costello song is excellent too. I got that album (Punch The Clock) last week. A bit uneven, but it has some ace tunes on it. And I love the horns on that record.
