I always like that one. It has a bit of a dirty funky feel to it.

me: Aretha Franklin - Day Dreamin'
(from Atlantic R&B 47-74)

Bruce Springsteen * The Hitter

From Devils & Dust

Also no tickets for Bruce in amsterdam??

Nope. No tickets. :(
It was sold out in 3 minutes, so I heard.

me: Betty Wright - Clean Up Woman
(another track from Atlantic Records)

I know it was horrible, I tried for about 5 minutes and then I gave up.
But I ve read somewhere that there is a change that he is combing back after the summer. (hopefully this time belgium)
You Dutch are always lucky.. You got morrissey, Radiohead, Bruce etc.. and we nothing..

me
The Stone Roses * Don't Stop

From The Stone Roses

Well, don't be jealous because we got Morrissey. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't great either.

me: Roberta Flack - Killing Me Softly With His Song
(from Atlantic Rhythm And... you fill in the rest :))

Didn't you like it? I thought it was great.
It wasn't as good as when I saw him in Earls Court but still a great show.

me:

Neil Finn * Turn And Run

From One Nil

It wasn't that I didn't like it, I just thought that magic spark was missing. It wasn't anything special, a bit flat (this includes the crowd though). Plus, it was short.

And that Neil Finn song is gorgeous!

me: Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway - Where Is The  ?
(not from a Black Eyed Peas record)

You are right about the crowd, they were a bit tame,. It would be better to see Morrissey in a smaller hall (the paradiso for example). And he always plays such short sets. I also would rather have him to perform 2 hours, but that's something Mozzer will never do.

Neil Finn is a great songwriter he has never done someting bad

Me:
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds * Loverman

From Let Love In

Yeah, but (less than?) 80 minutes is very short in my book. Certainly for an artist with such a back catalogue.

me: The Spinners - One Of A Kind
(song #200 in this boxset  )

lou Reed - Take a walk on the wild side

Hi Tiny  i responded to your post at what are you doing now?
