I used to really dislike this song, but I've begun to realize how beautiful it really is. Lyrically, it's so direct and sad, and musically it's underspoken and just... wow. Although I'm very happy with the girl I'm dating now, I just got over a very big thing I had for another girl. And this song makes me think of her.

It's over
You don't need to tell me
I hope you're with someone who makes you
feel safe in your sleeping tonight
I won't kill myself, trying to stay in your life
I got no distance left to run

When you see me
Please turn your back and walk away
I don't want to see you
Cos i know the dreams that you keep is wearing me
When your coming down, think of me here
I got no distance left to run

It's over, I knew it would end this way
I hope you're with someone who makes you feel
That this life is the night
And it settles down, stays around
Spends more time with you
I got no distance left to run

------------------
And you brighten my life like a polystyrene hat
But it melts in the sun like a life without love
And I've waited for you so i'll keep holding onWithout you

LOVE that song!!!!!!!!

NDLTR is one of blur's absolute best. I adore it.
I have a live version which *sigh* it just melts the heart.
That and This is a Low are 2 of the saddest, most beautiful songs ever written.

YES.

I bought the "13" album because of Tender initially but this song is beautiful too.
