2000: Rams/Martz:10-6 Pats/Belichick: 5-11
2001: Rams/Martz:14-2 Pats/Belichick: 11-5
2002: Rams/Martz: 7-9 Pats/Belichick: 9-7
2003: Rams/Martz: 12-4 Pats/Belichick: 14-2
2004: Rams/Martz: 6-6 Pats/Belichick: 11-1

Totals: Rams/ Martz: 49-27 Pats/Belichick: 50-26
(And I didn't even bother incorporating the playoff records, I believe Martz is 2-3 in that span and Belichick is 6-0)

Not to mention that Andy Reid's record with the Eagles from 2000-2004 is 57-19, I wonder if I keep searching how many more coaches I can find who exceed Martz.
You should amend your statement to say that Martz has won more regular season games from 200 till present than any other current Rams head coach.

No, lets face it, he's an idiot. Just inherited a lot of talent from Dick Vermeil.

Right, Vermiel was 6-10 and then 4-12 before Martz showed up. Martz became offensive coordinator and created a dynamic offense that turned a 4-12 team to a 12-4 superbowl champion, and a prolific offense that had the greatest 3 year stretch any offense has ever had. He took over in 2000 and has only missed the playoffs once and has built one of the best records since he took over in a system thats designed for parity.
