I'm amazed you have the courage, defiance, whatever, to put Hysteria on there (let alone that high) and release it to the public. I was a pretty big fan at the time (13th row on the Hysteria tour!), but I can't quite say it still does it for me. I will not deny, however, the still-effective pop charms of "Armageddon It".

Just finished listening to Hysteria myself. What a fun album! Every song is like a hit single.

1. Radiohead - Kid A
2. Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
3. U2 - Achtung Baby
4. The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
5. Led Zeppelin - IV
6. The Strokes - Is This It
7. Richmond Fontaine - The Fitzgerald
8. The Band - The Band
9. Brian Eno - Another Green World

I haven't written here in ages!!! Anyway I hope to post often again and I'll start with this...
In no particular order:

Achtung Baby - U2
Funeral - Arcade Fire
Origin Of Symetry - Muse
If You're Feeling Sinister - Belle & Sebastian
First Impressions Of Earth - The Strokes
Grace - Jeff Buckley
Our Love To Admire - Interpol
OK Computer - Radiohead
Elephant - The White Stripes
13 - Blur

New updated list :shifty:

U2 - Achtung Baby
The Beatles - Abbey Road
Radiohead - Ok Computer
REM - Automatic For The People
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes
Pearl Jam - Ten
Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
Led Zeppelin - IV
Depeche Mode - Songs Of Faith And Devotion
Guns n Roses - Use Your Illusion I & II

I love these threads, not for the opportunity to post my list, but for the opportunity to see everyone's lists....you're always going to see things you agree with, disagree with, etc...but the best is when someone lists something you're not familiar with, leading to a discovery that is new to you.....anyway, my list, in no order, with only one per band:

Joshua Tree - U2
OK Computer - Radiohead
Reading, Writing and Arithmetic - The Sundays
Revolver - The Beatles
Life's Rich Pageant - REM
Ferment - Catherine Wheel
The Police - Ghost in the Machine
In My Tribe - 10,000 Maniacs
Exit Stage Left - Rush
Pleased to Meet Me - The Replacements
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
Prince - Purple Rain
Bruce Springsteen - Darkness on the Edge of Town

Well, that's 13, sorry.

And, this list represents the only thing I'm qualified to comment on, which are my 10 (13) favorites. I have no idea which are the 10 "best", and I suspect it's actually, or at least hopefully, an impossible question to answer to begin with.
